> FeeEdge compares real trading fees across 20 major crypto exchanges — perpetual futures and spot — and ranks the cheapest venue for a trader's specific monthly volume, maker/taker mix, native-token discounts and (on perps) funding. Fees are refreshed daily; published entry-tier maker/taker rates, verified June 2026.

- Covers 20 exchanges: Binance, Bybit, OKX, Bitget, Gate.io, MEXC, Hyperliquid, HTX, BingX, Kraken, Coinbase, Crypto.com, KuCoin, Bitfinex, WhiteBIT, Phemex, BitMEX, Backpack, BitMart, CoinEx.
- Perpetual-futures base taker fees range from ~0.00% (Bitfinex, MEXC) to ~0.06% across these venues; spot fees range from ~0.00% to ~0.60% (Coinbase Advanced).
- Bitfinex currently advertises 0% maker/taker on spot and derivatives; MEXC is among the cheapest perps venues.
- Native-token discounts (~10–25%) are offered via BNB (Binance), OKB (OKX), KCS (KuCoin), GT (Gate.io), BGB (Bitget), HT (HTX), BMX (BitMart), CET (CoinEx), WBT (WhiteBIT).
- The cheapest exchange depends on market (perps vs spot), 30-day volume tier, and maker/taker mix — there is no single cheapest for everyone.
